United States – Donald Trump’s team on Wednesday called for a contribution of one million of the grassroots to defray the risk of losing his New York residence, two days after he failed to make a plea for the bond of $454 million that the court ordered in the fraud case.

Campaign for One Million Patriots

“KEEP YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF OF TRUMP TOWER!” The JFC (Joint Fundraising Committee) sends fundraising messages that ensure all the money collected goes to both his campaign and the Legal Expense Defense Fund, as reported by Reuters.

A civil fraud case filed by New York attorney general Letitia James on 2022, September, is just one of many pending legal harassments which precede the November 5 presidential re-election of Trump against Democrat President Biden.

The message that we text with prompts for the Patriots to share the amounts ranging from $20.24 to $3,300 or a specific amount of their choice, say that James wants to steal Trump’s properties and depict his actions as a part of a more was Biden and Democrats’ plot to harm trump’s reelection campaign.

“So before the day is over, I’m calling on ONE MILLION Pro-Trump patriots to chip in and say: STOP THE WITCH HUNT AGAINST PRESIDENT TRUMP!” the campaign message said.

Appeal for Financial Assistance

Biden maintains he has no direct involvement in any of the charges against Trump. The camp of the Biden did not give any statement.

The fundraising message connects donors to the joint fundraising committee, which usually Trump asks citizens to contribute through. It is indirectly associated with the situation of James, but it is uncertain what the fund will be allocated for.

It is in question whether Trump used the funds to pay the judgment. Although the law prohibits the utilization of campaign money for personal expenses, Trump has rightfully used some of the donor money to pay some of his lawyer’s fees, as he considers that his legal defense is campaign related.

Ongoing Legal Battles

Last Monday, Trump’s attorneys told the Federal Appeals Court of New York, which he is appealing to, that 30 surety companies had turned him down for a bond that would take care of the massive civil fraud judgment against him, making him inch closer to having his properties seized.

As for making such payment, President Trump has two options: either from his own pocket or by posting a bond to stop the state’s seizure while he is appealing the judgment that Justice Arthur Engoron gave against him on Feb. 16, 2023, concerning the wrong report of properties’ values to deceive lenders and insurance companies.

Just recently, Trump was forced to deposit a $91.6 bond covering an earlier $83.3 million defamation award for E. Jean Carroll, and the case shall be appealed because this woman had indicated that the president sexually assaulted her a long time ago, as reported by Reuters.

He has claimed ‘not guilty’ or ‘not responsible’ in the numerous civil and criminal cases that imperil his real estate operations and his political campaign.
